I’m on a roll! Finished another picture in my Horizon Watchers series. Especially pleased with this for the distance in the picture and the fact that the people are not overpowered by the depth and distance of the sea. It is also a slightly more realistic rendition of the people without trying too hard to make it a series of portraits. Watercolour can be quite tricky at times to combine effects and story, but I’m (smugly) pleased that I may have achieved it on this one occasion.
