Just returned from a cruise on Cunard’s Queen Victoria where I was running some watercolour workshops. Super trip and was lucky enough to enjoy the company of some very fine artists in the classes. The only downside (well up and downside) was the two crossings of the bay of Biscay! The seas were really rough and I was impressed with the dedication of the participants on the workshops to actually get along the ship to take part.
During 11 on-board classes on the sea days we covered a range of topics from sunsets to topiary and seascapes to landscapes , we even addressed the dreaded “P” word.(perspective) which everyone made a great job of. Everyone was so positive and the classes were a real source of fun, lively discussion and friendship. Thank you all!
Looking forward to the next opportunity to teach on the “old briney”
