I enjoyed a lovely morning sitting in one of the “dips” in New Brighton sketching these wonderful seaside villas, echoes of grand days now long gone.

I was pleased with the sketch and popped it onto The Wirral Urban sketchers’ page on Facebook and then almost as an afterthought put it on the Facebook page “Old pics of Liscard and Wallasey” Well I was overawed with the responses, “likes” and many nice comments regarding the picture,

so much so, that I have commissioned some greetings cards and am doing a limited edition of “giclee” prints on archival watercolour paper.
